Pine Pellets VS. Clay
Pellets: All Natural Pine made from clean, dry, screened sawdust that contains no known carcinogenic dust harmful to you and your pet.
Clay: Contains silicate dust that is a known carcinogenic
 
Pellets: Biodegradable. Easy disposal. Can be flushed down toilet in small amounts or mixed into garden as compost. Breaks down quickly and naturally.
Clay: 48 million pounds per week that will never break down are dumped into landfills. Clay litter contributes to overflowing landfills- "Clay is forever"
 
Pellets: Economical. Requires less product. Only 1" in litter tray as it expands upon contact with moisture. 1lb. SBC Pet*Master= 4lbs. of Clay litter. Less weight, less trips to the store, easier to handle
Clay: Heavy, requires 2-3 inches in litter tray.
 
Pellets: No Additives, 100% natural. No dyes, fragrances, chemicals. Absorbs odor naturally.
Clay: Clay litters are inert, therefore many different chemicals are added to mask odor, aid clumping, etc.
 
Pellets: Less than 6% Moisture Content. Quick absorption. Will absorb up to 4 times their own weight in water.
Clay: Does not absorb well.
 
Pellets: Safe for your pet if ingested. Passes through the digestive system.
Clay: If digested, can cause injury or death as dust absorbs moisture and sticks to lining of stomach and/or intestines.
 
Pellets: Virtually Dust Free. Does not release all the dust particles into your household that is commonplace with clay litter.

Pellets: Sterile (When manufactured). SBC Pet*Master raw material is dried in a rotary kiln at temperatures exceeding 700° Fahrenheit. Product can be safely used for post surgery.
